Taking a closer look

Some of the rankings here make sense. For example, Glutonny placed first on this list and is ranked worldwide as the 8th-best player. HE’s placed first at every major European major he’s attended with the exception of three where he lost due to other better players in attendance. Still, Glutonny has some impressive wins over major names in the industry, like MkLeo, Dabuz, Shuton, Raito, and Abadango.

Space is another impressive player who has become the number one player in the Netherlands and third-best in the European Smash Ranking. Of the many tournaments he participated in, his best performance was at Ultimate Fighting Arena 2019, where he defeated Oryon, Glutonny, and Kameme.

When it comes to regions that dominate the European Smash Ranking, its France, the Netherlands, and Germany that have the best players. The top 50 includes 16 French players, 12 Dutch players, and 10 German players. Not only do such regions dominate with sheer quantity of players, but also the quality of their ranks. The top 15 players come from one of these three countries.
